What marketing agencies in Pune actually charge in 2026
Nobody publishes rates, so every quote feels like a guess. The real bands, the three pricing models, and the number that matters more than the fee.
Search for a marketing agency in Pune and you will find a hundred websites, none of which tell you what anything costs. You end up on four discovery calls just to learn the price range. Here is the range, so you can skip three of those calls.
The three ways agencies charge
- Flat monthly retainer. A fixed fee for a defined scope. Easiest to budget, and the only model where the agency has no reason to push your spend higher than it should be.
- Percentage of ad spend. Typically 10-20% of whatever you put into Google or Meta. Common, and quietly misaligned: the agency earns more when you spend more, whether or not the extra spend returns anything.
- Project or build fee. One-time, for a website or a campaign launch. Fine for a defined deliverable, bad as the only relationship, because nobody is accountable for what happens after launch.
The bands in Pune, as of 2026
- ₹8,000-15,000/month, a solo freelancer or a very small shop. One channel, limited reporting, usually part-time attention. Workable if your spend is small and your expectations are matched to it.
- ₹15,000-35,000/month, a small specialist team. One or two channels run properly, with conversion tracking and monthly reporting. This is where most Pune SMBs land and where the value is usually best.
- ₹40,000-1,00,000/month, a full-service agency. Multiple channels, creative production, a named account manager. Makes sense once your ad spend is large enough that a percentage point of efficiency pays the difference.
- ₹1,00,000+/month, larger agencies, usually serving national brands. You are paying for process and headcount. Rarely the right fit for a single-city business.
Website builds sit outside these bands. A conversion-focused landing page starts around ₹20,000; a full multi-page site with tracking built in runs higher depending on scope.
The number that matters more than the fee
A ₹10,000 agency that delivers leads at ₹600 each is more expensive than a ₹20,000 agency delivering them at ₹150. On a ₹50,000 monthly budget that is 83 leads against 333. The fee difference is ₹10,000; the lead difference is 250.
Four questions that expose a weak quote
- What is the management fee and what is ad spend? If a single number is quoted for both, you cannot tell how much is actually reaching the platform.
- Who owns the ad account? It should be you. If the agency owns it, leaving costs you your entire conversion history.
- What is the notice period? Twelve-month lock-ins exist to protect the agency from its own results.
- Can I see a real account screenshot, not a case study PDF? Numbers that came out of Ads Manager look different from numbers that came out of a designer.
If you want a straight read on what your budget should be rather than a proposal, book a 30-minute call. We will tell you the number even if the answer is that you are not ready to spend yet.
