The landing page that books site visits instead of collecting emails
A page with one job, in the order the visitor actually needs it. Most service-business landing pages get the sequence backwards.
Most landing pages we are asked to review are brochures with a form at the bottom. They open with the company's founding year, list services, and ask for an email at the end. The visitor arrived with one question and it was not 'when were you founded'.
One page, one action
A landing page attached to an ad should have exactly one job. If the ad said 'book a free design consultation', the page books consultations. Not newsletter signups, not portfolio browsing, not a downloadable brochure. Every additional option costs you conversions on the primary one.
The order that works
- Above the fold: what you do, who for, where, and the action. A visitor should be able to answer 'am I in the right place' in three seconds.
- Proof immediately after. Real project photos, real numbers, real names. This is where credibility is won or lost.
- The objection block. Price band, timeline, what happens on a site visit. Answering these raises conversion rate, it does not scare people off.
- The form. Short, with the qualifying questions you actually need and nothing else.
- A second call to action at the bottom for people who scrolled to read everything.
Publish your price band
The most common disagreement we have with clients, and the one where the data is least ambiguous. Studios fear that showing a range scares people away. It does — it scares away the people who were never going to buy, before they occupy an hour of your time.
'Full-home interiors from ₹8 lakh' converts fewer visitors and books more meetings. You are not trying to win the visitor. You are trying to win the project.
Speed is a conversion feature
Paid traffic is overwhelmingly mobile, frequently on patchy 4G. A page that takes four seconds to show anything has lost a chunk of the clicks you paid for before the visitor saw a word. Compress the images, serve modern formats, and do not load a video on page load.
Make the last step frictionless
A form is not the only option and often not the best one in India. A WhatsApp button with a pre-filled message converts better than a form for most service businesses, because it starts a conversation in an app already open on the phone rather than sending a message into a void. Offer both. Let the visitor pick.
